I started composing when I was about 37. “New Age” is my favourite style, Hennie Bekker, my favourite New Age composer. Click on his name to visit his website, where you can here some samples of his beautiful music.
Melancholy
This is the first tune that I wrote, in 1996. The basic melody came to me when I was about 15. 22 years later I developed it and only recently orchestrated it (added background/accompaniment via synthesizer software).
